Hallmark Original is a long pimple rubber designed for players who like to play close to the table. The pimple surface is very hard which gives massive spin reversal when blocking against topspin. The rubber is slow which causes the ball to be returned short over the opponent’s side of the table which makes playing consecutive topspins against it difficult. The rigid structure of the pimples means that even when pushing with Original the ball is given forward rotation causing it to rise when returned by the opponent.
